A pulpotomy treats a decayed or infected baby tooth to save it from extraction. It removes only the damaged part of the tooth’s pulp, keeping the rest healthy and your child’s smile intact.

Pulpotomy
Pulpotomy is a common pediatric dental procedure for primary (baby) teeth with decay or infection that has reached the pulp (nerve tissue). Instead of removing the entire tooth, the dentist removes only the diseased portion of the pulp and seals the remaining healthy tissue. This helps preserve the tooth until it naturally falls out, allowing proper development of permanent teeth and maintaining chewing function and alignment.

Decay Removal – remove decayed parts of the tooth
